Applied Consumer Insurance Europe AB
(trading under the name Applied Affinity Underwriters)

Applied Consumer Insurance Europe AB (hereafter referred to as ACIE) is an insurance intermediary authorized by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) and registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket). ACIE also operates under the trade name Applied Affinity Underwriters, meaning this name may also appear on emails, websites, documents, information, and marketing materials.

ACIE is an insurance intermediary that acts as a representative for the insurance companies with whom we collaborate. The business is regulated, among other things, by the Insurance Distribution Act (2018:1219) and the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority’s regulations (FFFS 2018:10) on insurance distribution.

ACIE has been assigned by insurance companies to distribute the insurers' products to other insurance intermediaries or partners. ACIE has the contracted authority to bind these insurance companies to insurance agreements with customers. This means that while the insurance companies are responsible for the insurance risks, they have authorized ACIE to carry out parts of the process on their behalf.

ACIE is an independent division within United Risk Global, an international platform for underwriting and distribution of property and liability insurance. More information can be found at
